2003年Florian Jenett and Valentin Beinroth把50把由有色冰制作的高仿手枪放置在法兰克福市中心的广场上，猛一看那些枪和真的一样。

2009年他们制作了这些冻枪的新版本。而这次他们使用的材料主要是可乐、甘草、樱桃和食用色素。
